Shift: A 4-Week Storytelling Class

“Shift” can mean a lot of things. A shift in perspective. A shift in identity. A shift in a relationship. A shift in the seasons or the world around us. A shift in momentum. A shift in who we are becoming.

Sometimes shifts happen suddenly—a moment that alters everything. Sometimes they happen slowly, like spring arriving one warm day at a time. In this 4-week class, you’ll choose a moment of shift in your life and learn to shape it into a meaningful, true story.

We’ll explore story structure, theme, character, dialogue, and performance techniques. Each week includes supportive feedback and opportunities to refine your story, and we’ll conclude with a live graduation showcase where you’ll share your story on stage.

• Improve storytelling or presentation skills
• Explore a personal transition or turning point
• Gain confidence speaking in front of others
• Reflect on the shifts that have shaped their life
• Perform a story in a supportive, welcoming environment
