Hey there! New to 3D printing? Curious but don't know where to start? This workshop is made for you!

We're excited to invite you to our workshops at Double Union on the first Sunday of the month - August 3, September 7 or October 5 at 11:30 AM (Pacific Time). Come learn the basics of 3D printing and unleash your creativity!

In this hands-on workshop, we'll cover:

What a typical 3D printer actually does (and how!)
Different materials and build surfaces you can work with
What kinds of things you can print and where to find designs
Creating your first custom design using TinkerCAD

Light snacks and refreshments will be provided and we have available street parking around the space.

Our space is available 24/7 for members, and we offer sliding scale —pay what you can membership as well as scholarships! Join us :)

Double Union is a volunteer-run, non-profit, hacker/maker space and community workshop in San Francisco. We work together to maintain a comfortable, welcoming environment that centers nonbinary people and women who are trans, cis, intersex, queer, straight, and not-fitting-into-those-labels, no matter what you look like.

Double Union is only open to non-members during public events. We may abruptly cancel events with no rsvp's.

Double Union is currently located at 650 Florida St Unit M, San Francisco. We are in a ground floor location on the interior courtyard of the block. It's about 3/4 mile from the 16th St Mission BART station and 1 3/4 mile from the 4th & King Caltrain station. There is street parking in the surrounding neighborhood, but it is frequently busy.
