About this event
There comes a time when you are not climbing anymore. Not healing, not fixing, not striving. You find yourself in the hollow - the dark season, the unraveling. And the only task is this: to stay with yourself there.
This October, under the turning leaves and lengthening nights, we invite you to step into a circle of women who are ready to honor the descent. To explore fear and despair not as an enemy, but as a lantern. To practice sovereignty not in the rising, but in the stillness.
This gathering is not about breakthroughs or resolutions. It is not about being saved. It is about taking the deep lessons of the dark winter to learn the alchemy of the underworld - transforming fear into wisdom, darkness into strength, and stillness into embodied power.
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Guided Meditation to meet your fear as a lantern-bearer
- Ritual & Storytelling rooted in ancient lore (including Inanna’s descent into the underworld)
- Sensory Experience of walking together under the night sky, and connecting with goats - the model balance, persistence, and curiosity.
- Journaling & Witnessing practices that honor fear as wisdom
- Shared Codex-Building: each woman will begin a personal “Codex of the Dark Season” - a collection of rituals, phrases, and practices to carry through the literal and metaphorical winter months
- Closing Circle by lantern-light, reminding us that the spiral of descent is part of the cycle of renewal
We will gather in a canvas bell tent with a wood burning stove for a cozy container on private land in Franktown, surrounded by autumn air, firelight, and the gentle presence of animals.
WHO THIS IS FOR
This gathering is for women who feel the season of descent approaching - inside or out. For those tired of the endless demand to rise, shine, and produce. For those already navigating the darkness, ready to face their fears, and to discover the sovereignty that comes not from escape, but from presence.
You are not broken because you are in the dark. You are not behind because you are unraveling. This is part of the spiral.
This is a beginning, not a conclusion. There will be more gatherings, more thresholds, more moments like this. But for now - we meet here. In the dark. With the ones whjo know how to hold a lantern, and the ones learning how to light their own.
AFTER THE GATHERING
Your journey will continue through 4–6 weeks of guided email follow-ups. Each week, you’ll receive:
- A reflection prompt
- A practice or ritual to add to your Codex
- A short myth, teaching, or seasonal story
By the end, you will carry your own Codex of Dark Season Practices - a living resource you can return to when the world feels too heavy to hold you.
