Parent and Toddler

Purpose:

• Familiarize children between the ages of 2 years and approximately 3 years with the water and teach swimming readiness skills.

• Provide safety information for parents and teach techniques parents can’t use to orient their children to the water.


Prerequisites:

• No skill prerequisites

• Child must be at least 2 years old

• Parent must accompany child to each class


Important Information/Instructions:

The City of Miami Learn-To-Swim classes are $45 they are NOT FREE.

After acquiring a class ticket from Eventbrite, the parent or immediate family member (18 years or older) must come in person to the Shenandoah Pool with either a picture or copy of the Eventbrite ticket to finish the registration process and pay for the class via cash or credit card.

Payment is DUE by Friday, November 28th , 2025, before 12:00pm.
