Ladies, join us for the last "workshop" for She Se Puede in 2025! Dr. Hedith S. Upshaw is back to close us out.

Ladies, join us for our final women only event where the topic of Crucial Conversations for Mastering Dialogue will be discussed. If you were at our October event, you saw first hand how impactful the morning was.

Joining us again is CISD Assistant Superintendent Dr. Hedith Sauceda Upshaw.

Dr. Upshaw currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning for Conroe ISD. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Sam Houston State University in 1997. Upon completion of her undergraduate degree, she attended Texas A&M University. She earned a master’s degree in educational administration in August 2002 and a doctorate in Executive Leadership in December 2015 from the University of Houston.

Dr. Upshaw joined Conroe ISD in August 1997 as a bilingual education teacher. She served the District as a Mathematics Instructional Coach for two years before becoming the assistant principal and ESL Coordinator for Conroe High School. In August of 2003, she moved to the position of assistant principal of Runyan Elementary, and the following year became the principal of Runyan. In 2007, she was named the Director of Bilingual/ ESL Education for Conroe ISD. In May 2012, she was named Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Staff Development, and most recently, in April 2020, the Board of Trustees named Dr. Upshaw the Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning.

Hedith is married to Ethan, a retired special agent with the Texas Department of Public Safety. Together, they have twin boys named Jacob and Joshua. Recently, Jacob embarked his journey with the U.S. Coast Guard, attending boot camp in Cape May, New Jersey, and Joshua is pursuing his passion in performing arts at Baylor University’s School of Music. Additionally, Hedith is a graduate of the Leadership Montgomery County Class of 2017 and has been a fitness instructor at Fitness Project Houston for several years.
