She Moves With Grace
Overview
We are 2 friends with 1 common mission: to help women achieve emotional freedom through dance and devotion.
The event is open to ALL women 18+, as this will be an inviting and hospitable atmosphere, with light-hearted & fun, non-threatneing, non-judemental, and simply a space for women to co-create with God through dance & devotion to reform, restore, and release their emotions in unique ways. This is not an intensive trauma recovery program, and you will not be expected to share deep stories or wounds at all. The body will speak for itself through story-telling with shapes, posture, movement & flow. All dance abilities or lack thereof are welcome :)When we acknowledge and move our emotions, we build resilience in our bodies, promote immune function, regulate our nervous system, and build stronger and healthier communities/families. This event is about getting unstuck and discovering (with childlike curiosity) where God is moving us.
This event will be facilitated by Sandy Everett, a trauma-centered occupational therapist who specializes an holistic & integrated approach to wellbeing, including Ancient Christian theology & spirituality. Sandy also holds a Master's degree in Theological Studies with a focus on holistic healing & fasting from an ancient Christian lens.
Tina Imedashvili is a professional dancer, instructor and Life Coach who provides both structured and unstructured dance routines (using hip-hop, modern & ecstatic dance) to help women build skills, confidence, and truly release heavy burdens using their creativity.
