Handmade Futures
Custom instruments, modular architectures, audio transformations, tactile interfacing from artists building their own sonic worlds.

Sharkiface, aka Angela Edwards, is an Oakland-based performer blending synths, custom instruments, and voice to craft visceral, noise-influenced electronic works.

Thomas Dimuzio is an experimental electronic artist who performs with the Buchla modular, focusing on real-time processing and generative sound.

Ava Koohbor works with sound as a tactile material. Her performances are sensory fields where vibration becomes texture, risk, breath, and presence in space.

Wobbly, aka Jon Leidecker, a member of Negativland, creates live sample-based collages using touch-sensitive interfaces for spontaneous digital manipulation.
