SHAPING ABSTRACTION

Work with shapes of various colors, textures, and sizes to create creative abstracted composition for an acrylic painting. We will move them around visually playing with composition, tracing their position or using directly on the canvas!

Anything goes.

We will discuss the symbolism of shapes, meaning, etc., ultimately using them as a device for a painting. Please bring a canvas, we'll provide a charcoal pencil and the paint. Glue if you wish use the shapes directly on the canvas, not just as a composition guide. We provide the paint!.
