We’re excited to welcome you and your family to Shady PlayDates this summer. On Thursdays in July, we will host a craftivity for kids on on our patio beginning at 10:30am.

July crafts are:

Week 5 - American Flags

Week 6 - Clay Rainbows

Week 7 - Birdwatching Binoculars

Week 8 - Pipecleaner Insects

Week 9 - Rock Painting

This event is free of charge for customers of the Shady Llama. We will gladly welcome any donation you would like to make to help cover material costs and compensate our PlayDate leaders. Our bar will be open for beverage sales including beer, wine and a variety of non-alcoholic options. We will also have snacks available for purchase, but you are welcome to bring in your own food as we do not have an onsite food truck on weekdays.

By reserving a ticket to this event, you are guaranteed a spot of you arrive by 11am. If you are not able to attend, please request a ticket "refund" and we will take you off the list. There will be also be a few spaces available for walk-ins on a first-come, first-served basis.

Frequently asked questions

Is outside food allowed?

Yes! We will have snacks available for purchase at the bar, but you are welcome to bring in your own food, if desired. We do not currently have an onsite food truck on weekdays. Please no outside beverages, other than water.

What age is this for?

This event is designed to appeal to and engage preschool to elementary aged children and their caregivers. Parents/guardians do not have to participate but must be onsite and providing supervision of their child(ren) at all times. Younger children may need assistance with some of the craftivities.

How long does the event last?

Each craftivity is designed to be completed within about 30 minutes.
