Sign your 4th grade student up to experience BASIS Washington, D.C. through the eyes of a 5th Grader.
Shadowing students will be introduced to a 5th Grader from BASIS Washington, D.C., explore our campus, observe classtime, learn about our academic and extracurricular programs, and meet students during the morning schedule.
Shadowing is not a mandatory part of the application process, but it is a great opportunity to learn more about the BASIS Charter Schools.
Shadow days are for incoming 5th grade students ONLY. We cannot accommodate students currently enrolled in the 3rd grade or below.
Prior to your student's scheduled Shadow Day, you will receive a message from the Registrar containing the required documents needed for your Shadow Day experience. Please complete and return all documents upon receiving them.
