About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Join us for the first 2025 meeting of the San Francisco Universal Preschool (UPK) Mixed Delivery Workgroup. This will be a collaborative gathering of early childhood educators, parents, community leaders, and public agency partners. Together, we’re building a more inclusive, accessible, and high-quality preschool system for all San Francisco families.

In this interactive session, we will:

  • Share the purpose, vision, and goals of the Workgroup
  • Review progress to date, including an overview of the UPK Mixed Delivery Grant (2022 to present)—who’s involved, what we've learned, and why this work matters
  • Hear from the Department of Early Childhood (DEC) and SFUSD as they share their shared vision for UPK in San Francisco and discuss how this vision can come to life through authentic community partnerships
  • Invite your input through a community gallery walk—your voice will help shape priorities and strategies
  • Reflect on hopes, questions, and curiosities from Workgroup members as we co-design the path forward

Let’s build the future of early learning together!

Hosted by:

The San Francisco Child Care Planning and Advisory Council (CPAC), in partnership with members of the UPK Mixed Delivery Steering Committee, including representatives from DEC, SFUSD, Children’s Council, and Wu Yee Children’s Services.
