Frequently asked questions

What time does summer camp start?

Summer camp hours are Monday - Friday, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. One eventbrite summer camp ticket = 5 days of sabre fencing summer camp Monday-Friday.

What type of shoes should I wear?

Tennis or court shoes with good grip for both camp and class are recommended.

What kind of workout clothes are appropriate?

It is recommended that students wear workout clothes that cover their legs, and long socks, and it may be useful to bring an extra shirt since they will likely sweat.

What about lunch, drinks, or snacks?

Students should bring a lunch, or quick snacks for the day along with water, or sports drinks sufficient for a few hours of exercise.

Do I need fencing gear?

All fencing gear will be provided by the club for summer camp; students are also welcome to bring their own fencing gear if they have it.

What about hair ties, scrunchies, or hats?

Students should come prepared with the following items: Hair ties, hair bands, scrunchies, or bandannas to keep hair away from their eyes.

Where is the summer camp located?

2025 SF sabre summer camp is held at the SF Sabre School at 3201 Balboa Street in San Francisco.

What ages can register for the summer camp?

Ages 7-16 may register.

Can I select multiple weeks?

Yes, multiple summer camp weeks are available - just select the Monday (first day of camp) for the week desired.
