Sewing Machine Basics: Make Your Own Key Fob

Ready to learn sewing but not sure where to start? This beginner-friendly class will give you hands-on experience using a sewing machine while completing a fun and practical project, a custom key fob you get to take home!

In this class, you’ll learn:

  • How to thread and set up a basic sewing machine
  • How to set and test thread tension
  • How to adjust stitch style and length
  • How to sew simple features like zippers and buttonholes
  • How to complete a key fob project from start to finish

Bring your own fabric (15.5” x 3.5”) to make it personal, or select from our limited in-house fabrics.

All tools and materials are included in the class fee.

Important Notes:

  • Beginner level, no prior sewing experience needed.
  • Duration: 1.5 hours | Group size: up to 4 students
  • Class must be booked by 9 AM the day before.
  • Please arrive 10–15 minutes early and sign our release of liability.
  • Please reschedule if you’re feeling unwell.
