Sewing Bee with Melanie

Bring your sewing projects to work on and get some guidance from a longstanding seamstress. Mel is here to help with all your sewing and quilting projects. Need help putting in a zipper? Need to serge some edges but not quite sure how? We’ve got you covered on the third Sunday of every month from 2-4.

This is intented to be independent sewing in your own projects. Mel cannot help you step by step on your projects, but can offer some assistance if you are stuck or confused. If you need one on one help with most of your project this might ot be the class for you.

If you need to use one of our sewing machines in the Art Room please add on the Machine Use fee before check out.

Please note, this class is intended for folks who already have a good working knowledge of sewing, either using the machine or by hand. If you are an absolute beginner please attend one of our beginner classes to learn the basics.

NOTE: Reduced price member tickets are for folks with a monthly or yearly subscription membership to the 757 Creative ReUse Center. If you'd like to start your membership online, click here. You can also start your membership in store. If you do not have a subscription membership, please choose the General Admission ticket. If you reserve a reduced ticket without a membership, your reservation will be canceled, or you will be asked to pay the difference in ticket price when you come in for class.

We all put a lot of time and effort into creating these classes for you and cultivating an enjoyable and fun learning experience. With that in mind these classes are most suited for groups so we encurange you to register with a friend, or a few! A class minimum of 2 is required. Any classes with only one registered participant will be cancled 24-hours before the class. Refunds will be issued and you will be contacted by email and phone.

Please include a phone number along with your email, so we have your contact information in the event a class must be rescheduled or cancled.

Folks who miss multiple classes without notice will be prevented from registering for future classes. If you are not able to attend a class you have registered for please call us and let us know.
