Save the Date and Register Early for the 2020 Poudre River Forum

The Poudre Runs Through It Study/Action Work Group (PRTI) was formed in 2012 to bring together those who are most concerned about the Poudre as a working river—delivering urban and agricultural economic benefits—and those concerned about the river’s health.

The Poudre River Forum brings together those on the Poudre who farm, deliver clean potable water, drink beer, recreate, and advocate for river health to learn from one another and to explore how we can move from conflict to collaboration. Join us for this year's event to engage with other Poudre River enthusiasts!

Registration includes the full day’s program (coming soon), as well as breakfast, lunch, and a closing reception.

Returning From Last Year:

  • Take in 25+ educational displays
  • Sponsorship Opportunities (coming soon)
  • Annual Poudre Pioneer Award recognizing individuals or organizations who have contributed substantially to furthering our goal of making the Poudre River a premier example of a healthy working river. Submissions can be made here by December 1.

Visit the Poudre River Forum website for updates to this year’s event. We hope to see you there!

Poudre Runs Through It Study/Action Work Group

“Let’s make the Poudre River the world’s best example of a healthy, working river.”

That’s the mantra of the Poudre Runs Through It Study/Action Work Group, made up of about 30 citizen experts selected to study the Poudre River and formulate collaborative actions based on what they learn. Agricultural, urban, business, recreational and environmental interests have been meeting since October 2012, building relationships and putting into action a number of initiatives they have identified, including preparations to stage the seventh annual Poudre River Forum. The group is facilitated by Colorado Water Center at CSU.
