Part of the SETTLE + Friends SeriesAs women, we’re often taught to keep it all together — to hold, to help, to handle. But when we’re exhausted or under pressure, it can feel almost impossible to ask for help or to slow down enough to receive it.

This SETTLE + Friends experience co-hosted with Lauren Dike, is an invitation to pause, to attune to the support already living within your body, and to remember that community care begins with nervous system care.

This is a ticketed event PURCHASE your ticket here: https://www.eventcreate.com/e/settleandsupport

What to Expect:

Arrival with Intention
We’ll begin at the door with a simple act of giving — collecting gently used warm clothing, canned goods, or books for those in need. Because giving to others activates the same pathways of calm and connection that help regulate our nervous system — it literally helps us feel more settled and connected.

Movement + Meditation
We’ll move into gentle somatic practices, breathwork, and guided meditation to regulate the nervous system and create safety within the body. You’ll experience the core of SETTLE — a restorative somatic journey that helps you move from stress and survival into rest, ease, and inner connection.

Co-Regulation Practice
Together, we’ll explore what it means to co-regulate: two bodies, safe space, synchronized nervous systems. Through shared breath, awareness, and grounding exercises, you’ll experience both giving and receiving support. Research shows that positive social connection and gentle touch elevate oxytocin, lowering cortisol and signaling safety to the body — something we could all use a little more of, especially during the holiday season.

Words of Affirmation + Closing Ritual
We’ll close by writing and collecting words of affirmation in a communal jar — a tangible offering of hope, love, and encouragement that will be shared with the same community receiving our donations. Because when we give and receive from a grounded, regulated place, we create ripples of healing that extend far beyond ourselves.

You’ll leave feeling:
-More grounded in your body and your natural rhythms
-More open to receiving and offering support with ease
-More resourced — emotionally, physically, and relationally — as you move into the holiday season

This experience is also an acknowledgment that not everyone has the same capacity to settle — some are still working to meet their most basic needs. Those of us with the financial, emotional, or spiritual capacity are invited to show up, expand, and share some of that capacity outward — creating a bridge of collective care that supports the whole.
