Ready to take your dog grooming skills to the next level? Join us for an incredible 3-day NDGAA workshop with the internationally recognized, award-winning master groomer and certifier Guzal Adekoje!
Day one is all about learning with demos featuring 2 amazing breeds from 2 groups sporting, non-sporting. Day 2- the 2nd day of theory and demos including handstripping for beginners, grooming long-legged, and short-legged terriers. Receive invaluable tips on what to study for the written exam, what materials to use, and how to prepare for each breed. It’s all laid out for you, so you’ll know exactly what to expect. From a brief dog anatomy to a sample test and live demonstration and educational games to make learning fun! Get ready for 2 days full of learning
And on day three? Bring or rent the table! It’s your day to shine! You’ll tackle the practical test showing off your talent in a friendly small group atmosphere. Set yourself for success, have fun and achieve your goals. Bring a dog or a few and get tested on one or all four breeds.

As much as we love all fur babies, we recommend to Not bring your dog to the first day with you. We want everyone to focus and to avoid distractions.
Of course! Coffee, water, snack and lunch will be provided for the 1st day. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions prior to the event. For the 2nd day, coffee and snacks will be provided if you are testing with one dog. If you are testing with multiple breeds, lunch is provided.
Bring your table or rent one from the salon. Reservation required.
If that's possible, please bring the dog already bathed and dried. If that is not an option, please contact the event organizer directly to reserve a bathing time.
Please bring your dog/dogs for the practical
Please bring crates to keep your dog's safe while you are taking the test and everything to keep your dog comfortable, toy, blanket, bowl for water, treats etc.
Please make sure the dog/s you are using for practical is/are dog and people friendly. Aggressive dogs will be disqualified without refund. Dogs must be up to date to rabies vaccination.
