HUNTER/GAME bio:

Balance is the key to Hunter/Game's music. It's part of growing up in Milan - a sophisticated urban centre for film, fashion and art, but whose inhabitants relish the contrast of spending reflective time in the nature that surrounds the city.

It started in 2010 with the "Just This" parties. Hunter/Game's own party, held in secret locations round the city, Just This has made Milan a compulsory stop for the touring electronic artist - from early shows that focused on local acts like Mind Against and Tale Of Us, growing to far bigger events with names like Dixon, Seth Troxler, Koze, Tennis and other DJs in Hunter/Game's worldwide scene. And alongside the parties, the duo have released on Innervisions, Rumours, Last Night on Earth, My Favourite Robot, Hot Creations and Dynamic - with a Kompakt release in early 2015 - and each EP has earned more fans for their lush, deep-grooved analogue soundscapes.

In 2015, alongside a heavy Europe and North American touring schedule, Hunter/Game will open the doors of the new Just This vinyl label. Distributed by Kompakt, the label opens with the leftfield electronic dance stylings of Danish-Icelandic band Primal, a Hunter/Game release, and another to come within five months. With a stylistic approach that leans toward Hunter/Game's own, Just This releases are aimed at the discerning dancefloor, but are as influenced by the wild ambition of 80s electronic acts as by contemporary analogue production techniques.

SOEL bio:

Amid a multitude of talented artists, you suddenly find one, who is unlike the rest. A preeminent composer, SOEL's music evokes a feeling in the listener, that is at once both completely alien and deeply familiar.

Milanese electronic composer and DJ, SOEL, fell in love with music at a young age, having grown up with his father's endless vinyl collection, and it was at 14 years of age, after watching the film ‘Memoirs of a Geisha’ and its accompanying soundtrack by John Williams, that he knew a career in music would be his calling.

SOEL began to produce music in his adolescence, using music samples representing his originality and changing from house and dark disco to minimal to techno. His music quickly grew support from a cadre of techno artists including Tale of Us, Ellen Allien, Carl Cox, Adriatique, Solomun, Âme, Dixon, John Digweed, Konstantin (Giegling), Rødhad, Luciano, and Joseph Capriati, just to name a few.

SOEL’s musical evolution, multicultural experiences, and individualism are organically reflected in his music. He's refined his unique sound to a mix of deeply emotional ambient & atmospheric techno sounds, blended with dark synths and cinematic soundscapes

In February of 2020, SOEL also became a live act (in addition to his DJ sets), when he debuted his much-anticipated live act performance at the CityFox LIVE Festival in NYC where he played for over 5,000 fans. He played for them again the following summer at the grand re-opening of Brooklyn Mirage.

In January of 2020, SOEL opened his own electronic label, ORACOLO Records, which has a focus on dark, atmospheric techno and cinematic ambient. The label's most recent release, Tellurian, featured electronic music icons such as Recondite, VRIL, Dorisburg, and Luigi Tozzi.
