Set the Week, Set the Day...How and Why to Co-Create a Schedule
Event Information
Description
This is the 3rd webinar in our series put together by facilitators across the ALC Network as an introduction to the philosophy, tools, and practices from our self-directed education communities. It is our hope that the content offered in these sessions will be useful to families adapting to having kids unable to physically attend their usual learning centers, schools, and other facilitated meetups. Profits from registrations will go to supporting awesome facilitators in continuing to offer online support and sessions even as covid-19 closures of centers and side-hustle spaces strain folks' finances.
In Agile Learning Centers, we co-create the schedules that help orient us through the day. In this webinar, we'll discuss why we have this practice, some of the tools we use, and how we facilitate schedule-building in age-mixed groups!
This webinar is hosted by Antonio Buehler (he/him). Antonio is a founder and facilitator at Abrome, in Austin, Texas. Prior to founding Abrome, Antonio worked as a middle school and high school teacher at a startup alternative school in Austin, TX. He also worked as an admission consultant to individuals applying to top colleges and MBA programs.
