Who teaches the class?
Your instructor will be either Laura or Zac Finley — experienced trainers known for turning complicated food safety content into something you can actually use and remember. One of us will lead your class, and either way, you’ll be in good hands.
What’s included with each ticket?

What’s the schedule?
Check-in opens at 8:30 AM, and class begins promptly at 9:00 AM. Most students finish the exam around 5:30pm.
Will there be a lunch break?
Yes — we take a 45 minute lunch break around noon. You’re welcome to bring your own lunch or step out to grab something nearby. Coffee & tea will be provided throughout the day.

What is the Discord group?

Nope! Our class is designed to fully prepare you during the training. No pre-study required — just show up ready to learn.
Yes — in most states, at least one Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) is required for all retail food establishments.
Online options exist, but our in-person training is faster, more engaging, and has a much higher pass rate.
A valid photo ID (required for the exam), a pen or notebook, and recommended snacks or a sweater in case the room is chilly.
If your ticket includes a textbook, it will be handed out in class. If your ticket includes bonus digital study tools (Premium), they’ll be emailed to you shortly after registration.

Yes — just email us their name and email address before the class starts. No transfer fee required.

The instructor - Laura Finley - is a former health inspector and long-time food industry worker. She has the sense of humor of a restaurant employee and the knowledge of a regulator. You really cannot go wrong signing up for one of her classes. She strives to make the day the best day possible for all of her students.
