Service Patterns Hack Day 2 - with Govstack
Overview
GovStack is an open-source community that is building a global toolkit for digitising public services. In this hack day event, we invite anyone developing services around the world to join us in developing 4 service patterns.
We’ll design service patterns for:
- Payment - helps users and government make and receive payments securely
- E-signature - allows users to digitally sign documents as a way to agree or witness
- Messaging - helps inform users of updates, status changes, outcomes or alerts
- Wallet - helps users securely store, manage and present digital credentials
It will be an exciting 4-hour event, where you will discuss your users, prototype a service pattern, and think about how you could use service patterns in your work.
Here’s what the day will look like:
- Introduction to GovStack and Service patterns
- Break into groups. Use personas and scenarios to guide you to prototype a service pattern.
- [30 min lunch break]
- Develop service pattern further, and reflect on how you could apply it.
- Show & tells of work, and wrap-up of event
Audience: Anyone who works on public sector services globally
Format: Interactive workshop
Length: 4 hrs + 30 minute break (10am-2.30pm GMT)
