Not at all! While this workshop is especially designed with stay-at-home moms in mind, all moms are welcome — whether you work full-time, part-time, or somewhere in between.

Is this religious or connected to the church?

Nope. The venue is a church, but this workshop is neither religious nor faith-based in any way. It’s focused purely on play, language development, and connecting with other moms. The workshop will take place in a classroom within the church.

Should I bring my child with me?

Accepted Answer

This workshop is for moms only. The goal is to give you dedicated time to focus, learn, and enjoy a little “mom break” while connecting with other moms. You’ll walk away with your DIY Halloween-themed sensory bin, ready for your child to enjoy as soon as you get home!

What ages of kids is this workshop geared toward?

The strategies I teach are best for babies and toddlers ages 6 months to 3 years. That said, moms with slightly older kids often find this information helpful too. And if you have a younger baby — or you’re an expecting mama — you’ll feel prepared once your child is ready for sensory play.

My child has developmental or speech delays — will this still help?

This workshop is based on my expertise in general and bilingual education, not special education or speech therapy. While all children can enjoy sensory play, the strategies I teach are meant as a complement to, not a replacement for specialized support.

Your ticket includes all the materials to build your own Halloween-themed sensory bin to take home, a simple framework you can repeat, a handout with sensory play prompts, the chance to connect with like-minded moms, and a supportive, encouraging atmosphere.
