Sense and Sensibility in Data Science
Event Information
Description
Some of the hottest of hot topics - across a variety of fields - are Artificial Intelligence and "Big Data." Individually or combined, they have generated predictions both of a bright new future and of cataclysmic disaster. How are we to make sense of it all, and gain some insights into applications available now?
Vicki Boykis presents an insightful, clear-eyed talk that goes beyond the hype of AI, ML, and big data to cover several concrete problems that she sees businesses in the Philly area and beyond facing today and how they can be solved.
