Semiconductors: An Introduction, an IEEE TryEngineering Educator Session

Hello Educators,

IEEE TryEngineering, with support from the onsemi Giving Now program, is thrilled to invite you to our upcoming session, Semiconductors: An Introduction, on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Brookdale Community College in Monmouth County, NJ.

This hands-on session will introduce you to free resources from TryEngineering and guide you through activities on series and parallel circuits, and semiconductor chip creation. You'll also receive classroom materials, meet engineers, and tour the Brookdale Cyber Center.

The IEEE TryEngineering Educator Session is designed for teachers of middle school students, but anyone who is interested in introducing students to one of the fastest growing industries in NJ, and in the US, is invited to attend. High School teachers are using these resources in schools in California, Arizona, and Arkansas, after attending the session in their states in 2024.
