About this event

ASATTCI is proud to present our new self-suffiency skill-building workshop series! Join us on the 4th Tuesday of every month for a free opportunity to gain life skills in the spirit of mutual aid and community-building.

At our October 28 self-sufficiency workshop, “Exploring Your Perfect Career Pathway,” we will discuss educational degrees, programs, and opportunities with a focus on breaking down barriers for accessibility in education and making you more confident in your educational plan. By the end of the workshop, you will know what an educational goal looks like, be aware of what financial options are available for funding your education, and have a worksheet to keep to help you plan your future. RSVP today!

Our host, Michelle Drake, is a postgraduate researcher and educational professional focused on accessibility and intersectionality in higher education. Michelle has worked at private and public universities across the United States. They are currently the Career Pathways Coordinator at Stanford Sierra Youth & Families where they provide career and education pathways for those seeking careers in mental healthcare. Michelle also completes and participates in academic research related to identity and intersectionality in literature and history.
