Event Details

Are you interested in opening a new case for custody, timsharing and/or child support in Palm Beach County? If you are not married to the other parent of your child(ren) you must file a Paternity action to do so. In this free workshop we will go over the laws in Florida regarding the establishment of paternity, custody, timesharing and child support, explain the steps for opening or responding to a Paternity action in Palm Beach County, and answer questions from the audience.

This workshop is procedural only - the Clerk's office cannot provide legal advice.

Registration is encouraged but not required.

Session will be approximately 1 hour.

Free parking is available in nearby lots and garages.

Free workshops on a variety of topics are held the first Wednesday of each month at the Main Courthouse in downtown West Palm Beach and at various branch courthouse locations.

The Clerk & Comptroller, Palm Beach County, is your public trustee, responsible for safeguarding public records and public funds. The Florida Constitution established the Clerk & Comptroller as a Constitutional Officer, directly elected by and accountable to Palm Beach County citizens.
