As the season turns toward reflection and appreciation, this workshop invites participants to pause, ground and connect with gratitude through meditation, self inquiry and playful creativity.

The session includes:

  • guided meditation: a grounding practice to tune inward and bring awareness to the abundance that is already present in our lives: an invitation to transform the mundane into magic and to discover how viewing life through the lens of gratitudeallows us to move differently through the world and see it in more vivid color. This meditation awakens joy through the power of gratitude and grounds us into this embodied feelingof celebration in the present moment.
  • creative expression: (watercolors + markers) No previous experience necessary. An intuitive, playful art-making session where we use the insights that emerged in the meditation practice and express it through form and color.
  • reflection and sharing: journal prompts + optional sharing

BENEFITS FOR PARTICIPANTS:

  • creating intentional time for introspection, gratitude, self care and inward attention.
  • reduces stress and cultivates mindfulness and a deeper connection with the Self.
  • enjoy stillness and creativity as pathways to gratitude.
  • gratitude affects our brain (I’ll be sharing more about this through the practice:gratitude elevates our feel good chemicals in the brain, enhancing our mood and energy levels.

Gratitude rewires the brain to experience more joy and less stress-and we create new memories for both body and mind to bring that joy more readily into our experience the more we practice gratitude!
