Hopper Stone started as a photojournalist in 1988 while living in Europe. In 1997 he transitioned to working as an on set photographer for movies and television. His credits include “Modern Family”, “Hidden Figures”, "Captain Philips” “Blue Beetle” ,“The Sympathizer” and “Saturday Night". Most recently, Hopper just finished working on “Cape Fear” for Apple TV. His time in the movie industry has afforded him the opportunity to work with such actors as Robert Downey Jr, Tom Hanks, Melissa McCarthy and Samuel L. Jackson, among others.Through stories and pictures, Hopper will take you through what goes through the mind of a photographer who is surrounded by chaos and whose job it is to distill everything down to a single frame which tells a story. The idea is to help people apply those same principles to their own photography, regardless of genre. Hopper is a member of The International Cinematographers Guild (ICG) and President of The Society of Motion Picture Still Photographers (SMPSP). In 2012, he received the Publicists Guild Award for Outstanding Achievement in Television Still Photography.
