After downloading the Action Tour Guide app, begin your tour at the Sedona Chamber of Commerce/Visitor Center. Turn onto Route 89, or the Red Rock Scenic Byway, and start your scenic journey. Your first big stop will be at the Tlaquepaque Arts Shopping Village, a cute and quirky destination. NOTE: This 15+mile-long tour covers the essentials of Sedona in 2-3 hours.
Continue south to your first hiking trail: Marg’s Draw. Besides the stunning red rocks, this site also features plenty of blooming flowers in the spring. The next stop is Broken Arrow Trail, where you’ll learn all about the series of events that led to Sedona being called “Little Hollywood.”
Visit the Chapel of the Holy Cross and admire its towering structure, inspired by the Empire State Building. Up next is Cathedral Rock, probably Sedona’s most famous formation. Reach the Courthouse Vista trail, that leads to one of the town’s vortexes, supposedly charged with spiritual energy.
