Second Thursdays at the Carter: Cameras & Community
By Amon Carter Museum of American Art
Overview
Come break the rules and say “yes!” to new art experiences at the Carter’s Second Thursdays!
Each month you’ll find something different than the last—mingle with fellow art lovers, make art, and meet visiting artists, sometimes with live music and always with themed cocktails inspired by the Carter’s collection.
In June, examine the untold history of Black-owned media and Black photojournalists that were working in the 1940s to the 1980s in Black Photojournalism.
