The Sebeka Fire Department is hosting a comprehensive Firefighter I/II & HazMat Operations hybrid training program, built for new firefighters who are ready to develop real-world skills and confidently step into emergency response. This program blends flexible online coursework with two intensive hands-on skills weekends focused on practical fireground operations.

Online learning begins mid-February and must be completed prior to the in-person skills weekends.

🔥 Skills Weekend Dates

Weekend 1: April 17–19
Weekend 2: April 24–26

🕒 Training Schedule

• Friday: 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
• Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Sunday: 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

📍 Location: Sebeka Fire Department
Attendance at both weekends is required for successful completion.

• Interior fire attack and nozzle control
• SCBA use, confidence, and survival drills
