You are invited to join us for a celebration of balance and change, this Autumn Equinox weekend. Come with your family, your friends or just yourself and meet new kindred spirits as we gather with the turning of the year.
These family-friendly days are a celebration of folklore, crafts, nature, play and community marking the seasons not with rush, but with rhythm.
Everyone is welcome. At this transitional point of the year, the light of the suns rays greet the central golden ring of the earth. A time to recognise and honour the necessary balance of light and dark across the globe and celebrate the rich, colourful bounty of the season.Balancing a little science with a little mystery under the sky of a new moon, setting intentions to carry us forward through the restorative and nurturing months, when life starts to slow down and our roots are nourished.
There’ll be seasonal crafts for all ages, space to unwind around the fireside, and time to enjoy the big open skies and views across the Deerness Valley.Bring your picnic, bring your stories, and bring a bit of curiosity.
Come dressed for the weather and bring your own food and drink (this is an alcohol free event).
