Introduction to Coding Basics

We cover what coding is, and introduce HTML, CSS, and JavaScript roles in web development. Here, you will write your first HTML page with a title, headings, and paragraphs.

Building a Web Page

We will structure our web pages with HTML, style it with CSS, and learn a little vanilla Javascript.

Enhancing the Web Page

Time for folks to personalize their project.

Review what was learned, showcase completed projects, and provide the next steps for learning including resources and future events.

A laptop or iPad with keyboard and its charger is what is needed to complete this workshop. Wifi will be included in the workshop.

Do I need to do any preparation prior?

No preparation beforehand is necessary.

- Free street parking Parking lot in front of the building is free but first come first serve. All surrounding streets are free to park and it's always easy to find a spot.
