San Diego, CA — San Diego City College and SD Knights Records proudly announce the release of Sounds of City Vol. III: All Knight Long, the latest installment in the campus label’s annual compilation series showcasing the dynamic range of musical talent emerging from the City College community. This new volume highlights artists across genres—slowcore, hip-hop, indie, singer-songwriter, experimental, and more—reflecting the diversity, innovation, and collaborative spirit of the college’s music program.

ABOUT SD KNIGHTS RECORDS

SD Knights Records is the official record label of the San Diego City College Commercial Music Program, founded in 2023 by students in Commercial Music 220: Music Marketing & Promotion. Created as a hands-on learning project, the label gives student artists, producers, and engineers real-world experience in professional music creation, recording, promotion, and release. Operating out of the state-of-the-art City College Recording Studio, SD Knights Records provides opportunities in audio engineering, production, marketing, and artist development.

Through projects like the annual Sounds of City compilation series, the label empowers emerging musicians to share their work with the San Diego community and beyond while building skills for careers in the music and entertainment industries.

The Commercial Music Program at City College offers hands-on training in performance, recording arts, music theory, and audio production.
