Sculpted with Light: Studio Fashion & Portraits Using Godox Flash - SA

Join Canon Explorer of Light Photographer Laretta Houston, who is known for her fashion, editorial, and advertising imagery. In this hands-on three-hour session, Laretta demonstrates how she sculpts light with Godox flash and a range of modifiers, moving from clean, polished setups into bold, dimensional scenes. The workshop explores the interplay of crisp and soft sources, the impact of vibrant gels, the use of background accents, and the power of intentional angles—showcasing how thoughtful choices in light and modifier selection can transform ordinary studio moments into captivating, editorial-worthy portraits.

In the first 40 minutes, Laretta will cover both theory and practical demonstrations, and then give the attendees an opportunity to shoot.  During the first segment of the class, Laretta will work with one light, showing different ways to use it and how to achieve various results. In the second segment, she will switch to two lights, where things will get more creative—still demonstrating practical setups, but enhancing them with mood lighting, gels, and other creative elements.
