Screenprinting x Upcycling Workshop with Mona Cordes

Turn unused and unloved garments into your favourite piece in your wardrobe!

• Learn how to mix up your colour, options for pigments and binders and how they can work on different kind of garments.
• Take care of washing screens and the drying process and shown little tips and tricks
• Fix your personal garment...
• ... and leave the workshop with the knowledge of garment up-cycling through silk screen printing!

This workshop is suitable for anyone, you don’t need to have printed ever before!

What to bring:

• Garments you want to customise/upcycle: Anything from old jeans to a tote bag or overalls or a jumper!
• Please note that light coloured garments work the best but anything plain we can work with.
• Best to print onto are cotton items and anything not too bulky.
• Nothing suitable in your wardrobe? Mona will have a few items to print on, available to purchase.

All other materials are included: Mona provides screens and participants can make their own design to print their chosen garment.
Price: Sliding scale from €35-€55 (what you can support with).

Cancellation Policy: Since Mona Cordes is a small brand, being run purely by herself she can’t afford to have empty spaces, therefore 12 days cancellation is the policy.
