Scrap and Yap at MetroNOME Brewery
Overview
Join us for a cozy winter afternoon of junk journaling and building community at MetroNOME Brewing in downtown St.Paul. This month, we're giving back to our community by collecting winter clothing items for donation to Hallie Q. Brown Community Center. The main need currently is for adult-sized items, such as warm hats, gloves, mittens, scarves, and jackets. Please bring only new or gently used items.
Scrap and Yap is a 21+ LGBTQ+ friendly crafting meet-up for anybody who loves to junk journal, scrapbook, collage, or do paper crafts and chat with new friends. Supplies, materials, and ephemera will be provided. Please bring a journal to work in and any ephemera you would like to share/trade. Thank you to our awesome hosts, MetroNOME brewery! They are an awesome local business that was founded on the belief that education in general, and music education in particular, is the gateway to a better, more fulfilling life, and they want to make sure that any child who loves music should be able to find a way to play. MetroNOME Brewery will have beer and beverages available for purchase.
Parking in downtown St. Paul is often unpredictable and confusing. Please make sure to check the signage, most street parking in the area is metered.
For this session of Scrap and Yap, I am hoping to focus on collecting winter clothing donations. If you wish to help me cover the costs of materials/organization fees, I'll have the option to do so at the event. Thank you for your support!
