Join us on Tuesday 24th June for an hour of energetic, sociable fun at our ceilidh session. We'll be doing a mix of dances including familiar favourites like Strip the Willow and Dashing White Sergeant. No previous experience is necessary - you will be guided through each dance. You don't need any special equipment - just comfy shoes and clothes you can move about in. Come with some friends or come on your own - you'll soon be dancing with everyone!
The ceilidh session will be run by volunteers from RSCDS* Leeds Branch - enthusiastic dancers who want to share our love of Scottish dancing and the three fs: fun, fitness and friendship! Helen was born and raised in Scotland so has been ceilidh dancing since childhood and now works at Wellington Place.
*The RSCDS is an organisation based in Scotland whose aim is to promote and develop Scottish country dance and music worldwide for the benefit of present and future generations.
