Composed by Franz Schubert to poems of the German poet Wilhelm Müller, Winterreise ('Winter's Journey') is a cycle of 24 songs for voice and piano. Written shortly before the composer's death at age 31, the cycle portrays a heartbroken wanderer's desolate trek through a snowy landscape, exploring themes of loss and isolation. UVA Adjunct Voice Faculty, tenor William Ferguson sings, accompanied by his long-time collaborator, pianist Steven Philcox. Don't miss this rare opportunity to hear one of the great masterpieces of classical song in person in the Music Suite of the University Baptist Church!

FREE Parking is available in the church's front and back lots.

The parking lot entrance signs will say "Paid Parking" but audience members do not need to pay during concert.

If you are unfamiliar with the area, enter "110 Thirteenth Street NW" in your GPS. It will lead you to the entrance of the church’s front parking lot.
