For our Halloween event this year, we welcome costumes that celebrate the fun and spookiness of the season including ghosts, witches, and other classic scary characters. In keeping with long-standing Church policy, costumes should be planned using make-up rather than the wearing of Halloween masks. To keep our event fun for the entire family, please avoid costumes and decorations that depict death or dismemberment. Let’s focus on creative, and eerie fun without graphic or gory imagery.
Families and groups who are decorating rooms in the church building are free to use lighting and decorations as they see fit, however, please be mindful of the need for clean-up after the event, and avoid the use of decorations that would cause permanent damage to classroom walls or staining of carpets. Please do not use nails, tacks, or tape that would mar surfaces or can not be completely removed.
