SC SoundBites Annual Fundraiser Event
Overview
SC SoundBites Annual Fundraiser Event
Tuesday, December 10th • 7:00 PM
Steel Hands Distillery – The Vista, Columbia, SC
Join us for the Annual SC SoundBites Fundraiser, an inspiring evening dedicated to raising money to provide musical instruments to those less fortunate.
With the help of our generous supporters, SoundBites has, over the past nine years, helped start school music programs in underfunded areas, provided instruments to individuals with talent and passion but not the means to pursue it, and even donated guitars to men’s prison programs. Most recently, SoundBites extended its efforts to hurricane victims in North Carolina, distributing guitars, mandolins, banjos, and more to individuals, schools, and community centers in need.
This year’s event will feature Phillip Lammonds, an original member of The Blue Dogs and a South Carolina native who has become a respected Nashville songwriter with more than 4,000 songs to his name. Known for combining an insightful creative spirit with a love of Southern storytelling, Phillip’s songs have been recorded by Hootie & the Blowfish, Lee Brice, Craig Morgan, Josh Turner, Kip Moore, and many more. After decades as a behind-the-scenes hitmaker, Phillip recently stepped into the spotlight with his debut solo album Cowboy Things—a rootsy, heartfelt project produced by longtime collaborator Lee Brice.
Enjoy a night of live music, hors d’oeuvres, and drinks in a warm, community-driven atmosphere—all while helping us share the gift of music.
Individual tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available (while supplies last).
