Saxilby Sound Journeys

By Thrive Therapies and Coaching

Overview

A blend of guided meditation and sound healing. Where sound and ceremony meet to create the medicine to journey inwards.

A Sound Journey is a blend of guided imagery and meditation infused with sound that weaves the threads of the Medicine Wheel, the directions, the elements and our natural world. This held and guided space is facilitated by Scarlett an experienced Therapist, Ceremonial Sound Healer and Shamanic Practitioner. I work from a Trauma Informed Approach with many years experience working in NHS Mental Health and private practise.

I use a range of instruments including Tibetan and Crystal Healing Bowls, Gongs, Rain Sticks, Thunder Drums, Medicine Songs and my soul voice with Shamanic Drum, Ocean Drum, Tuning Forks, Rattles, Koshi Chimes and others.

You will need to bring: Mat, Cushion, Blanket(s), Water Bottle and optional is journal and eye mask and any other belongings so you are warm and comfortable lying down. You will be laid down for approximately 1 Hour 20 mins.

This experience allows the physical, emotional and spiritual body to dance together for a journey inwards. Sometimes sound healings can move energy within us that has been suppressed and therefore sometimes emotions can arise to be released so we may feel free and less burdened by what we carry around. I invite everyone to see these emotions as visitors that we can greet and let them carry on in their journey. Sometimes people experience calmness and rest during the sound journey and this likely points to what our body needs. Sound meets you where you're at.

Sound Journeys are not recommended for individuals who answer yes to any of the below, however you are welcome to take advice from your designated medical professional.
