Join us for our August Social Event — a morning hike to the stunning Snow Lake Trail, organized by SAWE – South Asian Women Entrepreneurs.

SAWE is a vibrant community of South Asian women entrepreneurs who usually meet bi-weekly for coffee and conversations. Once a month, we host a social event to connect beyond business, and this month, we're hitting the trail!

This event is open to everyone, you don’t have to be a member to join! It’s a great opportunity to meet like-minded women, enjoy nature, and if you're an entrepreneur, network in an authentic, relaxed setting.

1. Where exactly is the trailhead for Snow Lake Trail?

The trail starts at the Alpental Ski Area near Snoqualmie Pass. We'll share the exact pin in the WhatsApp group closer to the date.

Is this hike beginner-friendly?

The Snow Lake Trail is rated moderate, with some rocky and steep sections. It’s manageable for most with decent fitness and proper shoes.

How long is the hike?

The round-trip distance is approximately 7.2 miles, with an elevation gain of around 1,800 ft. Expect to be on the trail for 5–6 hours, including breaks and photos.

What time should I arrive?

Please reach the trailhead by 7:00 AM sharp. We aim to start the hike promptly to avoid afternoon heat and crowd.

What should I carry?

Bring: Water (at least 2 liters) Snacks or light breakfast Sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen) Comfortable hiking shoes A light jacket or rain shell (weather can change) Hiking poles (optional but helpful)

Is there restroom access?

There is a basic restroom at the trailhead, but none along the trail — plan accordingly.

Is carpooling available?

Yes. All carpooling will be discussed and arranged in the WhatsApp group. Make sure to join via the link shared on Eventbrite.
