In D&D, the goal is for the players to come together and tell a story through the dice-determined actions of their characters and the obstacles they face along the way. In D&D, we use dice to determine the game's outcome. So, the story can be completely up to chance most of the time!

Do I need to know how to play D&D to enjoy this performance?

No, not at all. This is a great chance to get a flavour of what Dungeons and Dragons is all about. You will get to watch adventurers with mixed experience navigate the game and get a great idea of fun, creative and engaging a D&D campaign could be.

Will the campaign be scary or violent?

Accepted Answer

Due to the creative and unravelling nature of D&D, we cannot predict exactly which way the performance will go, but there is a strong emphasis on this being a family performance and suitable for all ages. Any violence of aggression will be performed and delivered in a comic style.

How can I access the full campaign?

Accepted Answer

The full SAVE THE PORT campaign will be made available online, and through local libraries in Inverclyde. Physical copies will be sent to schools in Port Glasgow and local youth centres.
