2026 MARCH Annual Summit
Overview
Join Avera Research Institute (ARI) for the 2026 Maternal American Indian Rural Community Health (MARCH) Summit on March 24 followed by a half day workshop March 25 at the Box Elder Events Center in Box Elder, South Dakota. The annual summit is organized by ARI’s MARCH Center of Excellence, which is a platform for researchers, tribal nations, rural communities and key stakeholders to work toward improving maternal health and achieving maternal health equity.
Registration is now open. This year we are excited to offer a virtual option on March 24, so please select either in-person or virtual when registering!
Registration will close Friday, February 27, 2026, so please register before then.
Travel scholarships, up to $250, are available to conference attendees who complete the scholarship request form, which will cover travel and accommodation needs. If you are interested in applying for the scholarship, please complete this form by Dec. 31, 2025, and you will be notified by Jan. 15, 2026, if you were selected. Please reach out to march_ops@avera.org with any questions.
The summit will feature maternal health leaders and through presentations, activities, and an interactive workshop, we aim to raise awareness, share knowledge, and promote positive change in maternal health. We look forward to seeing you at this important event.
