We never imagined we’d be writing this.

On April 6, 2025, Salvation Wellness, our beloved massage and wellness studio in Jersey City, faced an unprecedented crisis and was completely devastated by a 24 - hour sewer flood caused by building plumbing issues. We watched, helpless as our studio was completely destroyed by water and sewage, leaving us with over a hundred thousand dollars in damage to every piece of equipment, furniture, walls, floors, products, and the healing space we worked so hard to build to bring wellness to all of you.

To make matters worse, the landlord has gone silent. They have ignored us despite repeated requests for something as simple as their liability insurance. No returned calls, no support, no accountability.

This isn’t just about water damage. It’s about the loss of a safe, nurturing space — a place where people come to heal, decompress, and feel whole again. Despite these challenges we remain committed to serving our community.

We’re now forced to operate from a temporary space to try to stay afloat, but we are rebuilding and we need your help.

Your donation directly supports the rebuilding of Salvation Wellness and will go toward:

Emergency repair costs from the flood.
Replacing destroyed massage tables, saunas, floors, doors, and walls, and wellness equipment.
Rebuilding a safe, functional space for our clients.
