Goldfish Swim School Northwest Hills is proud to host a Red Cross Hands-Only CPR Workshop, designed to teach community members the basics of chest-compression-only CPR. This quick and accessible training is ideal for those who want to make a difference in an emergency—no prior experience needed!
What you’ll learn:
- How to recognize cardiac arrest
- When and how to use Hands-Only CPR
- Chest compression technique and timing
- The importance of calling 911 immediately
This is a non-certification event, but you'll leave with the knowledge and confidence to act in an emergency.
Meet Your Instructor
Bryan Everett is the General Manager of Goldfish Swim School – Northwest Hills, where he blends leadership in youth development with a strong foundation in aquatic safety. His safety journey began in 2009 with baseline certifications in lifeguarding and CPR/First Aid. In 2013, he became a certified American Red Cross Instructor and has since served as an independent contractor affiliated with the Red Cross.
Over the years, Bryan has certified more than 1,000 class participants in lifesaving skills, including lifeguarding, CPR, First Aid, Basic Life Support, AED use, emergency oxygen administration, and babysitter readiness. He delivers hands-on, standards-based instruction, emphasizing real-world readiness and scenario-based assessment. Through his teaching and leadership, Bryan continues to promote a culture of safety and empowerment—both in the classroom and at the pool.
