Join Sara Jean MacDonald and Barnes & Noble Philadelphia on Tuesday, January 13th at 6pm at Barnes & Noble Philadelphia (1708 Chestnut Street) for a discussion of her Campus History Series book on The University of the Arts, as well as the lasting legacy of the nation's first university dedicated exclusively to education and training in the visual, design, performing, and media arts.

General Admission Ticket ***LIMITED QUANTITY AVAILABLE:
- Registering for a General Admission Ticket guarantees entrance to the event for the discussion and signing.
- Seating: Limited quantity is available and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Standing Room-Only: Limited quantity is available and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. In the event all seating is filled, ticket holders will be granted a standing view from behind the seated audience -- some views may be more limited/obstructed than others.

ABOUT Sara Jean MacDonald
Sara MacDonald was a University of the Arts (UArts) librarian from 1987-2020 where she was in charge of the archives and answered hundreds of UArts history questions. In 2006 she, along with her colleague Eugene A. Bolt, Jr., co-authored The University of the Arts (ISBN 0-7385-4521-X) part of the Arcadia Publishing Campus History Series. Sara has spoken on UArts history most recently at the Historical Society of Pennsylvania and at the Rose Valley Museum.
