An afternoon in the sun, an evening under the blooms.

Join Mixtape Sapphics for a magical day at the farm, surrounded by golden fields, laughter, and connection. This isn’t just the sunflower festival — it’s our private Sapphic Sunflower Soiree, designed to bring our community together.

We’re centering queer women and sapphics 35+, but anyone who feels they belong, belongs. Bring your friends, bring your family — each person attending needs a ticket and we will check you in at the tent. Just tell the ticket guy you are there for the private event, Samantha's Event, or Mixtape Sapphics Event.

Your ticket includes:

Full sunflower festival admission

10 fresh-cut stems (while there is a tiered system of different flowers for the festival, that doesnt apply to our event)

Unlimited access to the fields for wandering, exploring, and picture-taking

Hayrides (weather permitting)

🎉 Private Sapphic Soiree space (3 PM – dusk)

Private 30×30 tent with tables & 60 chairs (first come, please share!)

Craft activity (supplies included)

Board & yard games (think Uno, tag, kick the can)

Music & a dance party as the sun goes down, starting around 5pm

📸 Photo-worthy moments in every direction — from golden hour blooms to the joy of dancing at dusk

Food & Drinks

• 🍔 Burger & hotdog truck + drinks for sale (including water)
• 🧺 Outside food & beverages welcome (yes, that includes picnic baskets! and no restrictions.)

Vibe

Come for the sunflowers, stay for the community. Wander off into the blooms, connect over games, share a meal, or hit the dance floor/grass surrounded by flowers as the sky turns gold. It’s a day to breathe, belong, and celebrate together.

Important Info

• Parking: Free onsite
• Refund Policy: No refunds after purchase unless we cancel. If rain is light, the event continues. If heavy rain is forecast, we’ll either move to Sunday or cancel with full refunds.
• Accessibility: Fields are natural terrain; tent area has seating and shade.
• Family-Friendly: All ages welcome, but our focus is queer women & sapphics 35+.

By attending a Mixtape Sapphics event, you consent to being photographed and/or recorded by our team, volunteers, and fellow participants for promotional use. Photos and videos may be submitted to us by attendees and may be used for social media, event recaps, and other marketing materials now or in the future.

Your presence at the event implies agreement to the use of your image, voice, and likeness—without compensation—in any media created by or for Mixtape Sapphics. You release Mixtape Sapphics and its partners from any liability related to such usage.
