About this event
Calling all sapphic romance lovers! Whether you’re a longtime fan of sapphic stories or just discovering the magic of women-loving-women romance, Pride & Petals is thrilled to host a free, in-person book club celebrating sapphic love in all its forms.
Our mission is simple: to bring together readers who share a passion for heartfelt stories, swoon-worthy characters, and authentic representation. Join us for an evening of lively discussion, tasty snacks, and genuine community connection. Whether you’ve read every sapphic romance under the sun or are just starting your journey, this is a safe, welcoming space to make new friends, share your thoughts, and celebrate love in all its beautiful diversity.
Come for the books, stay for the laughter, and leave with a heart full of joy (and maybe a few new friends!). We can’t wait to meet you and chat about our latest sapphic read!
We have limited space for this book club, so make sure you save yourself a spot.
For the September 19th book club, we have chosen If I Told You, I'd Have To Kiss You by Mae Marvel:
What do you get when you cross James Bond with Mr. & Mrs. Smith… and make it sapphic? You get Mae Marvel’s If I Told You, I’d Have to Kiss You - a high-stakes, globe-trotting, ex-girlfriends-to-lovers spy romance that will leave you breathless.
Yardley “the Unicorn” Whitmer is the CIA’s most legendary field agent. KC “Tabasco” Nolan is a genius hacker who can break into anything but her own heart. They were once inseparable - until secrets tore them apart. Now, fate (and a very dangerous mission) throws them back together. Between deadly enemies, undercover missions, and a cyber-weapon that could change the world, Yardley and KC have to figure out if they can trust each other again… before passion blows their cover.
This book has it all: espionage, banter, explosions, betrayals, and make-out sessions in linen closets.
If you’ve ever wished for a sapphic spy romance that’s as thrilling as it is steamy, this one’s your mission.
And don’t forget - you can always stop by the store to grab your copy of If I Told You, I'd Have to Kiss You.
